These bio-plastics are made from hemp hurds - the inner part of the stalk - meaning less use of petroleum based materials. Hemp produces one of the highest amounts of cellulose, and can be grown sustainably and rapidly. Hemp absorbs CO2 from the atmosphere as it grows. Hemp cultivation improves soil condition and provides food for local birds and bees. And it's just cool to roll with!
